The Professional Side
Born in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Kirouls Gowid moved to Houston, Texas when he was two years old. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Biology and Business Foundations Certificate. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Following that, he completed a dental residency program at the Veteran’s Hospital in Temple, Texas. This program concentrated primarily on the surgical aspects of dentistry, such as implant placement and moderate sedation. Dr. Gowid is Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified and seeks to constantly further his knowledge through continuing education. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of dental care to his patients in a gentle and compassionate manner.
The Personal Side
In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, and taking long walks. Dr. Gowid also loves traveling to new countries and trying new cuisines. Ask him about his favorite board game, Catan or his favorite show, Breaking Bad.
